Terms & Condition
|a. Terms of Engagement
The terms and conditionsof engagement of Young Professionals will include the following:
Scope of Work: The Office engaging the Young Professionals (YPs) will delineate the roles and responsibilities of the YPs. The deliverables, activities and tasks along with time frame for completion and the authority-information relationship of the YP vis-a-vis other persons should also be specified.
Tenure: The office will indicate the period of tenure of engagement which may be up to a maximum of five years. Normally, the YPs may be engaged for one year and may be reengaged in the subsequent year basing on performance assessment of the previous year. Beyond five years no further reengagement may be undertaken.
Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualifications for Professionals will be postgraduate degree in relevant subject or technical qualifications like B.Tech., C.A., LLB, MBBS, MBA or equivalent in relevant field/subject, preferably from institutions of national repute. Persons with M.Phil or additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and work experience in the relevant field would be preferred.
Age limit: The maximum age limit for appointment of Young Professionals shall be 40 years.
Compensation: The compensation of the YP will be between Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month. He will be entitled for T.A/D.A. as per the eligibility of Group-B employees. An annual performance incentive up to Rs 10,000 may be paid at the end of every year to reward outstanding performance basing on annual assessment.
Evaluation: The performance of the YPs may be evaluated every year in the prescribed format. On the basis of evaluation, performance bonus may be released to the YPs proportionately and engagement may be renewed or terminated.
Leave: The Young Professionals shall be eligible for 8 days leave in a calendar year on pro-rata basis. A YP shall not draw any remuneration in case of his/her absence beyond 8 days per year (calculated on pro- rata basis). Unveiled leave in a calendar year cannot be carried forward to next calendar year. The office engaging the YP will be free to terminate the services of the 'YP in case of absence of YP by more than 15 days beyond the entitled leave in a calendar year.
Termination: In case the performance is found to be unsatisfactory on the ground of incapacity or misconduct the engagement may be terminated after giving the YP one month notice. YP may resign voluntarily after submission of one month notice to the authority engaging him.
b. Access to Site:
All content - textual, still pictures, graphs, voice or video - made available on this sites (including content available on our email and SMS services) (hereinafter referred to as the "content") belongs to General Administration Department, Government of Odisha. General Administration Department owns all intellectual property rights (including copyright and database rights) in the content. You may retrieve and view content on a computer screen, PDA or mobile telephone, print individual pages on paper (but not photocopy them) and store such pages in electronic form on disk or on your mobile telephone (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network) for your personal, non-commercial use.

c. Reprint and Republication

On registration, you must provide us with accurate, complete information and it is your responsibility to update and maintain changes to that information if required and allowed by the department. Each registration is for a single user only. One user should not register multiple times. On registration you will be asked for an email ID which is your user id and a unique password will be provided to you to login to the system. You can change this password any time after logging into the portal.
e. Technical Requirement & Site Security
The Young Professionals Siteis best viewed using the Internet browser IE 7 or higher versions. Any older browser versions may work but users could have a limited browsing experience. The YP site may not work well with Netscape versions. Payments to BS online are facilitated through CCAvenues.com. Any payments made must meet the terms and conditions indicated by ccavenues.com.
f. What we don’t Guarantee
We are not guarantying any job to the applicants those are registering themselves in this portal. The received applications will be scrutinized and required examinations will be conducted by any HR agency engaged by the department. Only selected candidates will be intimated and will be asked to join.
g. Third Party Services
The YP site may contain links to other Internet websites or online and mobile services provided by independent third parties ("Third party sites"), either directly or through frames. We are not responsible for the availability or content of Third party sites and will not be a party to, or in any way responsible for, any transaction concerning goods or services available from such Third party sites.
h. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with laws of the Government of India. Users of YP portal also explicitly agree that only courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with these terms and conditions, and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the courts in India.
Failure by either party to exercise any right or remedy under these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy. Headings in these terms and conditions are for convenience only and will have no legal meaning or effect.
